Al-quran, Surah An-Nisa, Aayat 4 : 123
Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem.
O Muslims, Jews and Christians, your complacency is not enough to enter the heaven.
Whoever among you does bad deeds will be punished and whoever does good deeds will be rewarded.
You have no helper in this world and the Hereafter except Allah.
The background of this verse.
Muslims, Jews and Christians were gathered in a public meeting.
Every group was saying that no one will enter paradise except them.
And they were also giving arguments in this regard.
After this verse was revealed, the companions of the prophet began to be sad.
Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said to be console them.
The verse was not revealed to create a wave of despair among you, but it was revealed to create enthusiasm.
Allah says.
The wise among you is the one who keeps track of his good and bad deeds, instead of living in false illusions.
The success of the Hereafter requires real efforts and is not based on wishful thinking.
There will be no one who helps people in the Day of judgement and admit them to paradise except Allah.
Allah's decision will be final and your wish will not come to true.
