Surah Al-Araaf, Aayat 7: 74

 Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem 

When Saleh PBUH said to his people Thamud:

O my people, remember the time when Allah made you the successors of this land after the people of "Ad,

O people, Allah has settled you in His land, you build palaces in the flat areas of this land. And you carve out the mountains and make houses and roads in them.

Therefore, O people, pay attention to the blessings of Allah, who has bestowed upon you this skills.

O people, don't go about spreading riots in Allah's land.

The people of Thamud.

Allah had given the people of Thamud beautiful valleys to live in flat land in the middle and mountains on its sides.

This place is called Mada'in Saleh.

They were cruel to humans and animals. They encouraged others to commit polytheism and robbed caravans.

Pay attention .

O people, pay attention to the favours of Allah. This attention is the means of gaining closeness to Allah. And this attention bring sweetness to faith and eases the implementation of Allah's command.

The conditions for Allah's punishment for a nation are as follows.

I. The messenger of Allah warned the people of Allah's punishment.

II. The nation is guilty of the second greatest disobdence to Allah, apart from polytheism.

Hadith.

When Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam was his way to the Battle of Tabuk, Mada'in Saleh was on the way.

Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam forbade the Muslim soldiers from camping at this location and drinking it's water. And ordered them to leave as soon as possible.

  Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem  The oppressors are those who prevent themselves from following the path of Allah and prevent others people from doing so.
