Surah Al-Araaf, Aayat 7: 85

 Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem 

And We sent to the tribe of Madyan their brother Shoyab PBUH to guide them.

Shoaib PBUH told the people:

O my people, worship Allah; you have no other God besides Him..

O people, I have came to you with clear proof of the Oneness of Allah.

O people, don't make any shortfall in measure and weight.

O people don't violate the rights of others in what belongs to them.

When Allah has established a law for the reformation of those who live on the earth, don't break those law and causes mischief on earth.

O people, if you agree to me and follow the commandments of Allah, then this is the best way for you.

The city of Madyan.

Was located on Red sea coast, south of Syria and west of the Hejaz.

The city was named after Midian the son of Abraham PBUH, Midian was born from Abraham's PBUH third wife, Keturah. And the descendants of Shoaib PBUH was related to Midian.

The people of Madyan were conservative arab , they used to deficient in weight and measure.

But when they took good from someone, they would take more than the weight and measure.

Usury Business.

These people had a Usury Business. Through this they had paralyzed the economy and life of the children of Israel.

Killing people was thier favourite pastime. Without any reason they had killed one hundred thousand children of Israel.

  Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem  The oppressors are those who prevent themselves from following the path of Allah and prevent others people from doing so. And these people make crooked paths in the path of Allah. And they deny the Hereafter. -------------------------------------------------------------- The purpose of unjust people. Preventing other people from following the path of Allah is to deprive them of Allah's guidance.  Bismillahi Arrahmaniarraheem. O Muslims, those animals that were slaughtered in the name of Allah at the shrine of idols are also forbidden for you. ------------- Hindus Festivals.
